In her role, Pergament leads the business news coverage from the New York Stock Exchange. As a reporter for NY1 in 1994, Pergament covered politics and later City Hall and the Manhattan beat. In 2001, she joined WCBS-TV as the consumer reporter for the station’s Troubleshooter segment and was a regular contributor to the Early Show. Pergament rejoined NY1 in 2002 as Business Anchor and producer of the Fortune Business Report. From 2002-2009, she also worked as a guest anchor on Court TV, and later TruTV’s In Session, hosting Newsbreaks and live trial coverage.
